Sue Mackey, MS LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy.

With over twenty-five years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Sue is currently fulfilling a life time dream of helping families dealing with the chaos of life.

Among her areas of expertise are children and teens, victims of crime and employee assistance programs. In addition, Sue has been an elementary school teacher, presented as an expert witness at court, taught parent education classes, worked at the Women's Resource Center and handled crisis stabilization for teens at Family Resource Center.

Sue also offers the unique perspective of someone diagnosed with MS.  She is highly sensitive to the strain of chronic illness on individuals and families.  Sue is a mental health provider through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Tampa.

Sue's treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, including art and play therapy. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
